Cardiff City FC Foundation coaches have been busy distributing free equipment packs to partner schools.

Supplied by the EFL, Sports Directory UK and the PFA the packs will help improve the quality of PE in school and allow children to continue to live healthier more active lifestyles.

One of the schools to receive an equipment pack was Bodringallt Primary School in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Headteacher at Bodringallt Primary School, Sion Howells, said:

"We'd like to say a huge thank you to Cardiff City FC Foundation - our children absolutely love the sessions and this kit - bringing fun, fitness and learning all in one! We are so lucky to have such a great partnership and long may it continue."

Foundation Director, Gavin Hawkey, added:

“Providing packs for our partner primary schools will allow children to always have access to equipment and help them lead healthier, more active lives. We’re always looking at ways we can support children in our communities and build foster their passion for Cardiff City FC.”

The team work with thousands of children each year. They provide opportunities for children to be active, learn and develop important life skills.
