Fish pre-Hull City | We're prepared for Saturday
Will Fish spoke to Cardiff City TV ahead of our Sky Bet Championship fixture against Hull City.
The centre-back joined the Bluebirds this summer from Manchester United and following his recovery from a slight injury, has featured on two occasions for City.
“I’ve really enjoyed being here,” Will began. “Albeit it’s been a difficult time for the Club, but with the lads and the place, I’ve felt really settled and I think we just need to pick up on the pitch now.”
Having made his debut for the Club against Derby County, the defender made his first start against Leeds United, playing at Cardiff City Stadium for the first time.
Will added: “It was amazing to play here in front of the fans. It probably came quicker than I would've thought after my injury.
“The result wasn’t ideal, but to step out here for the first time was a really good experience.”
The Bluebirds travel to Hull City on Saturday afternoon in the first of three important matches before the international break, with clashes against Millwall and Bristol City to follow.
"It'll be tough,” Will continued. “Every game in this league is tough. We’ve watched their clips and they do play differently to a lot of teams, so that'll be interesting to see how that goes, but we're prepared and we can't wait to get out there and hopefully bring three points back.
“The support is massive. I've only been involved in two games so far, but you can tell it's a real driving factor of the team. Especially at this tough time, we need it even more if possible. I think we'll do our best like we always do our best for the fans. If we can get three points on Saturday, that would be perfect.
“We’ve got off to a slow start, but there's a long way to go. I think these next three games, if we can win them, we’ll go into the international break with confidence and we can hopefully kick on from there.”
