Fantastic servants Walsh and Atkins depart

Cardiff City FC Women would like to thank Catherine Walsh and Zoe Atkins for their contributions following their departures from the Club.

Both have played a significant part in the Bluebirds’ recent success, claiming the Adran Premier title and two Bute Energy Welsh Cups in the last two campaigns.

Walsh made a notable contribution to City’s Bute Energy Welsh Cup final victory at the end of last season, netting a memorable goal against Briton Ferry Llansawel following her return from a long-term ACL injury.

As the Bluebirds lifted the Adran Premier title at Cardiff City Stadium, attacker Atkins scored a fine goal in a 3-1 victory over Swansea City Women.

Both were included in City’s squad for the UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign over the summer, the second time the Club have competed in the competition.

The Club wish all the best for the future to two great servants to the Bluebirds.
