Etete post-Blackpool | We need that clinical edge
Having scored his first competitive goal for the Bluebirds, forward Kion Etete spoke to the media at Cardiff City Stadium.
"I think we had enough chances in the game to win it and put it to bed in the first half especially," Kion began. "It’s something that we need to work on in the second half of the season.
"I had a few cameos earlier this season, kind of just finding my feet and the belief from the Gaffer has really pushed my confidence up from where I was before.
"Callum [Robinson]'s assist today was exceptional. That’s what he does. We do a lot in training of me feeding him, and him feeding me so it was bound to happen. I was happy to get that goal today.
"I feel like we definitely have the ability to push on, we just need that ending of putting stuff to bed. We’re outplaying opponents. We just need that edge.
"The truth is, it could have been three or four maybe today. We really need to put games to bed and finish them off while they’re down."

He added: "We’re trying to be positive. We’re playing well we just need a bit of ruthlessness.
"I think the football we play, the first half today and the second half at Stoke, we get the chances. We have the ability in the dressing room to do it, we just have to put a whole performance together instead of two separate halves."
