Erol post-Hamburger SV | A really great game today
Erol Bulut spoke to Cardiff City TV after the Bluebirds produced an accomplished performance in Bramberg, Austria to defeat Hamburger SV 3-0.
"Hamburg are a good team." Erol began. "For the last three seasons, they have tried to get promoted, so from us it was a really great game today.
"In the first 45 minutes, I was really satisfied. We could have scored maybe one or two more goals. Second half, we continued with the same performance, and then after 60 minutes we made some changes.
"We continued with the same shape, to play with quality, to keep the ball and the direction of the game. This was very important. We finalised the chances that we had. A good result, with three goals to nil, this makes us happy."
Goals from Ollie Tanner, Isaak Davies and Callum Robinson sealed an impressive victory for City, with the gaffer pleased by his side's application both on and off the ball.
"The second half was really good. We scored two, could have been more. The way we created the chances was really good. From open play, with a good passing section in the game, quick transitions.
"This was good, and we have to keep it like that. Of course, we still have to work on small details, but for now, it is okay.
"It's good when everybody is adapting well and showing good performances. They showed this in the last game when we won 7-1. The young players, for sure, can help us, so we have to see how often we can use them.
"The new players, we couldn't use them yet. I hope, in the coming games, we are going to use them. And of course, with some new transfers, I think the team will be ready for the season."
