Anwar El Ghazi spoke to Cardiff City TV after our 2-0 home win over Portsmouth.

“I’m really proud of the team and very happy for the fans as well.” Anwar began. “They deserve the win and I'm looking forward to the next game.

“I haven’t played much but I’m feeling better and better on the pitch - but I’m far from where I want to be. I'm still creating and getting chances, but, I have to do better, I know that, but it's coming.

"I think the link up between the team is really good at the moment and the more we play with each other, I think the better it will be.”

The Bluebirds are now on an unbeaten run of four matches, with Anwar starting all of those four fixtures.

"I think it’s credit to the manager as well. From the day he took over, he said he wants to play attacking football, and with the players we have I think we can do it. I'm happy that we are showing it and giving an enjoyable day for the fans.

"I’m very grateful for every minute that I can be on the pitch. As I said, I've come from really far. So, it's just enjoyable again to play in a full stadium, to win games and play football."

Next up for City is a trip to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

"I’m 100% eager to get going, it'll be a good game. I'm really looking forward to it. So let's get the three points!"
