On this day in 2007, Aaron Ramsey became the youngest player to ever pull on the City shirt.
He made his debut against Hull City aged just 16 years and 123 days, breaking John Toshack's long-standing record.
Nevertheless, Toshack is still Cardiff City’s youngest scorer. He came off the bench to net on his debut against Leyton Orient on November 13th 1965 – aged just 16 years and 236 days.
Rambo would go on to make 22 appearances for the Bluebirds – including in the 2008 FA Cup Final – scoring two goals for the Club. A loan return in 2011 then saw him add a further six appearances and a goal to his Bluebirds tally.
