On this day in 2013, Cardiff City clinched promotion to the Premier League courtesy of a 0-0 draw with Charlton Athletic.
Having been at the top of the Championship since November, the Bluebirds needed one point from their remaining matches to secure their ascent.
While the match itself may not have been a classic encounter, they held out against the Addicks to confirm their fate with three games to spare. After over half a century, the Bluebirds were back in the top flight.
City would travel to face Burnley four days later, with the chance to make themselves champions at Turf Moor...
