Sports Business Students in action at USW Welcome Fest

Last week, Community Foundation students on the BA Sports Business & Management course stepped up to run their university stall at the USW Welcome Fest in Treforest! They did a fantastic job promoting the USW futsal trials for the upcoming BUCS league.

The BA (Hons) in Sports Business and Management degree is run in affiliation with EFL in the Community and University of South Wales, allowing students to study remotely with Cardiff City FC Foundation at Cardiff City House of Sport.

This degree provides the opportunity to study in the workplace of a professional organisation in this sector, thus enhancing your employment opportunities.

Take a look at what’s on offer at their further and higher education provision here.

Cardiff City Soccer Schools are back for October half term

Train like a Bluebird during the school holidays with Cardiff City Soccer Schools, hosted by qualified Cardiff City FC Community Foundation coaches.

If they’ve never kicked a ball before or have been playing for years, each child is guaranteed to enjoy the sessions, develop their skills and technique before putting them into practice in conditioned, small-sided games.

The Community Foundation also offer girls only and specialised goal keeper sessions on Cardiff City Football Clubs doorstep, at Cardiff City House of Sport.

Please note that all attendees must provide a packed lunch, refreshments and wear appropriate footwear suitable for both artificial and indoor surfaces.
