Community Foundation Round-Up | Student wellbeing room makeover

Community
Bluebirds Charity team up with IKEA for student well-being room makeover.

Cardiff City FC Community Foundation received support from IKEA Cardiff to create a dedicated wellbeing room for their students. This generous support from IKEA has transformed an unloved space into a calming, peaceful environment where students can study and receive one-to-one mentoring, greatly enhancing their overall wellbeing.

IKEA's commitment to their mission of changing lives and transforming communities is evident through their donation of furniture and accessories to create a welcoming and functional space for our students. Their support is testament to the shared values of both organisations in developing strong and lasting community connections.

We also acknowledge the hard work of Willis Construction whose staff members volunteered their time to paint the room in preparation for IKEA's makeover. Their continued support and dedication have been instrumental in bringing this project to life.

Kellogg’s Soccer Camps kicks off in South Wales

Last week, the Community Foundation were excited to welcome their first #KelloggsFC Campers to their fun-filled, action-packed camps where boys and girls can enjoy football, be active and entertained during the summer holiday.

In Rougemont, our campers learnt new skills and made lasting memories with a special visit from Cardiff City FC’s Women's No.7, Rhianne Oakley, who came along to coach.

Don’t let your child miss out on the chance to follow in the footsteps of their heroes.

You can still book your child a spot here.

Fit Bluebirds
Wrapping up another Fit Bluebirds Season at Cardiff City Stadium

Another successful FIT Bluebirds season at the Cardiff City FC Community Foundation has concluded!

FIT Bluebirds is a FREE health programme for men and women aged 35-65 who are looking to lose weight, get fitter and lead a more active life.

The EFL's FIT FANS initiative has helped thousands of people – football fans just like you – to achieve long-term improvements in weight loss, physical activity, diet and general wellbeing. Participants on average lost over 5% of their body weight during the 12-week programme.

We hope everyone involved have become inspired to lead a more active life and made lasting friendships.
