CCS supports Scrubs for Wales Hospitals

Cardiff City Stadium is playing host to a team of volunteers making scrubs for NHS and frontline workers.

The talented sewers have been using the stadium as a base to produce scrubs for hospitals and care homes around the region.

They have set up a campaign on gofundme.com to help cover the cost of materials, which you can support here.

Executive Director & CEO, Ken Choo, said: “We’re pleased to be able to use Cardiff City Stadium for a positive cause at this testing time.

“As well as helping volunteers to support the NHS, the stadium has been used as a drive-through coronavirus testing centre.

“The Club are continuing to seek ways to support the NHS, its staff and care workers in thanks for the sacrifices they are making. 

“Having pledged a minimum of 1,000 tickets for frontline heroes earlier this month, we look forward to welcoming them to the stadium when we can.”
