Cardiff City Stadium to host Cardiff City FC Women vs. Abergavenny
For the third consecutive season, Cardiff City FC Women will be bringing their talents to our CCS home for a Welsh top-flight fixture!
The Bluebirds will host Abergavenny Town on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022, in Adran Premier action at Cardiff City Stadium – 7:30pm KO!
In May 2021, City hosted Briton Ferry Llansawel at CCS, with the Bluebirds triumphing, 6-0. Back in April this year, it was a battle of Cardiff, with City and Cardiff Met drawing 2-2 in an exciting encounter.
Speaking about their return to CCS, Iain Darbyshire, Head of Women's & Girls' Football at Cardiff City Football Club, said: “We’re delighted to be back at the home of Welsh football, Cardiff City Stadium. It is always fantastic for us to step out and test ourselves at this great facility. I’d like to thank Cardiff City FC for their support.

Over 15,000 fans attended Wales' exceptional victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Cardiff City Stadium earlier this month, setting a new record for Cymru. The current Adran Premier attendance record stands at 1,426, for the 2022/23 opening clash between Swansea City Ladies and Cardiff Met Women, at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Tickets for this match can be purchased from 10am on Monday, October 24th, 2022, with proceeds from this fixture going towards the growth of the Women's & Girls' game at Cardiff City FC.
