Cardiff City renew partnership with Glamorgan Brewing Co.
Cardiff City FC are pleased to announce their renewed partnership with Glamorgan Brewing Company.
The Bluebirds and Glamorgan Brewing Co. first teamed up in 2021 to develop 1927 IPA, which has since become a firm favourite with City fans.
The name & artwork were inspired by our famous 1927 FA Cup victory — the only time a team from outside of England have ever won the competition.
Brewed in Llantrisant, just a short distance from our training base at the Vale Resort, 1927 IPA will continue to be available at Cardiff City Stadium for all home games during the 2023/24 season.
Ken Choo, CEO & Executive Director of Cardiff City Football Club, said: "We're extremely pleased to extend this partnership with Glamorgan Brewing Co. - an organisation who understand our fanbase and have the utmost respect for our history and traditions.
"We're sure that the 1927 IPA will continue to be enjoyed by our supporters at Cardiff City Stadium for the upcoming campaign!"
Chris Lloyd, Sales Director of Glamorgan Brewing Company, added: "We’re delighted at Glamorgan Brewing Co to be extending our partnership with Cardiff City into the long-term.
"There are many City supporters working at GBC, so it was a must for us to continue the association. As we’re also based at the gateway to the Rhondda Valley, we know how strong a connection GBC and Cardiff City share with this football-mad area.
"2027 is fast approaching, and we all hope City win another FA Cup before then, but it will be great to commemorate 100 years of that unique achievement in the Club’s long history with a bottle or two of 1927 IPA!
"Look out for a few more beers in the coming years that we’re working on, and good luck to the Bluebirds next season and beyond from all at GBC."
