Cardiff City FC Women Player of the Month | November 2024

Voting is now open for our Player of the Month poll for November, with three Bluebirds nominated. 

Last month included four victories for City, coming in the form of a 3-0 win over Barry Town United, a 2-1 victory at Connah’s Quay Nomads, a 2-1 win over Cascade and an impressive 4-1 win at Cardiff Met. 

FIONA BARRY

Playing a big part in those results was striker Fiona Barry, who recorded a goal and an assist against Barry Town United, as well as continuing to impress in the next two games. 

It was in the last match of the month that Fiona produced a standout display however, with a fine brace against Met.

NIEVE JENKINS

Fellow summer recruit Nieve Jenkins featured in all four matches and showed her ability in both boxes. 

While contributing with fine defensive displays, she found the net against both Connah’s Quay Nomads and Cascade.

KERRY WALKLETT

Midfielder Kerry Walklett continued her excellent start to the season with some impressive showings in November, notably recording an assist for Barry in the win over Barry Town United, whilst providing invaluable leadership to the squad.
