Cardiff City FC Women Player of the Month | December 2023
Three players have been nominated for the Bluebirds’ Player of the Month for December.
The month included three victories for the Bluebirds, progressing in both the Adran Trophy and the Bute Energy Welsh Cup with victories over Pontardawe Town and Pontypridd United respectively.
In City's final game of 2023, Iain Darbyshire's side recorded an impressive 5-0 win at Aberystwyth Town.
Tija Richardson made an impression in December, playing her part in all three victories.
The midfielder recorded two goals and three assists, getting on the scoresheet against Pontardawe Town and Pontypridd United.
It was a prolific month for Eliza Collie, who showed her quality in December.
The striker netted four goals against Pontardawe Town, before also finding the net against Pontypridd United.
In the away fixture against Aberystwyth Town, Eliza struck a brilliant hat-trick.
Wing-back Mikayla Cook contributed with some fine performances last month.
Having previously represented City at U19s level, Mikayla has consistently impressed at senior level this season.
