Cardiff City Football Club is proud to announce a long-term partnership with Eleven Sports Media, the global leader in community-driven sports partnerships.
The partnership will see Eleven technology power new levels of fan engagement at Cardiff City Stadium, while Eleven will also become proud sponsors of the club’s youth Academy training wear.
As part of our collaboration, Eleven will install its award-winning matchday technology, StadiumTV and StatTV, at CCS. The fan engagement platforms will underpin a new community-driven partnership programme that gives local businesses a unique opportunity to align their brand with one of the UK’s most passionate football audiences.
Over many years of playing in the Premier League and Championship, the Club has remained committed to its important role in its local community. Through our collaboration and the introduction of the new Community Partner programme, we will be able to extend support for the people and economy around us even further. Our new partnership is focused on helping local businesses seize long-term opportunities to grow their brands in tandem with the Club.
Eleven’s technology will provide unrivalled new content for Cardiff supporters at the stadium and across the globe, 24/7. StadiumTV and StatTV bring matchday-attending fans closer to the action with integrated social media feeds and Opta-powered stats and news. Meanwhile, StatZone delivers highly engaging content to supporters enjoying the action through social media.
In sponsoring Cardiff City’s Academy, Eleven stays true to its on-going commitment to supporting the local communities of its partnered rights-holders. The development of young stars is a fundamental part of the Club’s on-going footballing strategy, providing a pathway for the younger generation to build a career in sport, be that on the pitch, coaching, in sports science or in sports administration.
Matt Cairns, CEO & Founder of Eleven Sports Media: “We could not be prouder to be associated with a club of Cardiff City's history and values. Our partnership will work to provide a powerful boost to the club’s longstanding strategy of supporting their local business communities, while it’s great to be able to help bolster the success of the Bluebirds’ Academy through our sponsorship of the training wear.
“Through the introduction of our technology, we also hope to play a key part in the club’s fan engagement strategy, bringing the supporters closer to the action on matchdays and beyond.”
Nic Heslop, Head of Commercial at Cardiff City FC: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Eleven Sports Media after having begun discussions with them prior to lockdown in spring 2020. Something that really attracted us to partnering again with Eleven was the focal objectives of working with local businesses and investing in our Academy to build a better future for the club.
“Effectively utilising the digital platforms now at our disposal will enhance the matchday experience at Cardiff City Stadium and create an exciting and unique platform for club partners to engage and connect with our phenomenal fanbase.
“We consider ourselves as a team of South Wales, which brings a tremendous opportunity for us to connect with a broad local community on a number of levels. This is pivotal to the success of Cardiff City Football Club and something which we believe can give us a competitive edge in years to come.”
