Cardiff City Academy | Be part of our future

Cardiff City Academy shirts
Ahead of the official opening of Cardiff City Academy’s new home in Llanrumney later this month, we’re inviting you to use a bit of your own history to inspire our future.

Part of the new Academy site’s arrival area will be featuring a number of historic shirts on display, highlighting our roots and pointing towards their futures.

And we’re inviting seven Bluebirds to be part of this project and join us as special guests at the official opening of the new campus on September 19th, ahead of tickets/upgrades for you and a guest at our home fixture with Coventry City at Cardiff City Stadium later that evening.

To be part of the magnificent seven, we quite simply need a favour: for you to donate a piece of your history – namely an iconic Bluebirds shirt from yesteryear.

Cardiff City shirts

Have you got a ’77 Robin Friday yellow and white stripe kit somewhere in the back of the cupboard? Or perhaps an ’03 Andy Campbell Leekes shirt from that sunny day in May at the Millennium Stadium? Maybe it’s a home shirt from our 2007/08 Cup Final run… or even a replica from ’27?

If you’re interested in donating a shirt to Cardiff City Academy to help inspire our future generations, simply bring your shirt to main reception ahead of the Swansea City fixture and fill out a form.

The details you give will serve for us to provide you a receipt for your shirt, an invitation to the Llanrumney launch event and Coventry City first team fixture on September 19th, and a future plaque that will sit next to your shirt highlighting that it was you that made the donation.
