Bulut pre-Sheffield Wednesday | Now is the moment to make a new start
Ahead of Saturday's match against Sheffield Wednesday, Erol Bulut spoke to the press at Cardiff City Stadium.
Erol began by discussing his expectations from the opposition this weekend, as well as sharing his thoughts on the preparations that have already taken place during the week.
“They did well in their last games that I’ve watched,” said Erol. “They’ve changed their playing style a bit, under their new manager. We’ve analysed during the week and we’re expecting a tough game.
“At the start of the week, we had a good meeting with the players, where we said that we’ve had to change some things. It looks good and I hope it will be a new start for us.
“We’ve had good results, and have been around the Play-Off positions, but we have to keep on pushing until the end of the season and not get comfortable. We are good, but we have to keep it."
With the match being the first of four to be played in ten days, Erol cited the team's renewed focus as the Bluebirds look to return to winning ways, beginning on the road this weekend.
“We have to be focussed and concentrated always to succeed," Bulut explained. "We’ve had performances go up and down and have rotated the players, making game to game changes when needed.
“We’re still on course. I said earlier this month that we wanted to be around the Play-Offs, and maybe I’m pushing too much, but we need to manage that pressure.
“Of course, everybody wants to be up there, and my players know that we have to push, but now is the moment that we have to make a new start to win games and find those performances again.”
