Boots for Bluebirds Appeal
Cardiff City FC and Cardiff City FC Foundation have launched the #BootsForBluebirds Appeal - sending your football boots into extra-time!
We are calling for all supporters to donate old or unused football boots to those who need them in our communities.
Many children and young people in Cardiff City communities are unable to afford football boots and appropriate footwear to access local football opportunities.
With the cost-of-living crisis forcing more families into poverty, even more people will be unable to experience the health and social benefits associated with football.
At Cardiff City we’re passionate about inclusion and making football more accessible, so we’re calling on supporters to donate football boots, trainers and shin pads to support those who need it most.
In all sizes - children and adult – we are looking for new or used donations of:
- Football boots
- Astroturf trainers
- Shin pads
Any footwear donated will be distributed via the Foundation team to our partner schools and community groups starting with low-income families and young people living in areas of deprivation.

- Cardiff International Sports Campus (CF11 8AZ)
- Cardiff City Academy Building @ USW Sports Park (CF37 5UP)
