This Green Football Week, Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is calling on City fans to help recycle and reuse footwear to support the next generation of players.
The Foundation are collecting donations of football boots, trainers, and shin pads in all sizes (children and adults) whether new or pre-loved. By giving these items a second life, you’ll be helping to ensure more young people can take part in the game they love: and you can score green goals with Green Football’s Great Save campaign for Cardiff City FC!
The donated footwear will be distributed by a Community Foundation team to schools and community groups, ensuring they reach young people and families who will benefit most.
In all sizes (children and adult) the Foundation are looking for new or used donations of:
Football boots
Astroturf trainers
Shin pads
You can find donation bins at any of the following locations:
Cardiff City Stadium Reception (CF11 8AZ)
Cardiff City House of Sport (CF11 8AW)
Grange Pavillion (CF11 7LJ)
