Bennett | We'll look at the positives and move forward
CHARLTON REACTION | BENNETT
City defender Joe Bennett spoke to the press following Tuesday evening’s 0-0 draw with Charlton Athletic.
“It was frustrating,” Joe began. “But I think you would’ve taken seven points from the games we’ve played so far before we restarted.
“It was a little bit slow today. It is a point and a clean sheet though so we’ll take it and move on.
“We’ll look at the positives and look forward to a big game on the weekend."
The Bluebirds have now played three games since football restarted. Joe explained how he’s adjusting to playing behind-closed-doors before looking ahead to Saturday’s Severnside derby.
“It took a game or so to get used to it. It is hard. The fans motivate you when things aren’t going well. When you’re drawing like today and the fans get behind you it gives you a push.
“When it is a derby though - you don’t need anything to get you ready. The boys will be up for it.
“Hopefully we can get a good result against Bristol City and keep that play-off spot.”
