ADRAN PREMIER | SEASON SO FAR
The Bluebirds will be in Adran Premier action this Sunday, for the first time in 2024.
City were unbeaten in the league for the entirety of 2023, ending the calendar year in fine form.
Iain Darbyshire’s side currently sit at the top of the table, six points clear of Swansea City in second.
In the final league game of 2023, the Bluebirds recorded an impressive 5-0 win at Aberystwyth Town, in which striker Eliza Collie netted a brilliant hat-trick.
Sunday’s opponents are fourth in the table, five points clear of Aberystwyth Town in fifth, as the Saints aim for a top four place at the end of Phase One.
In their last league fixture, Greg Draper’s side claimed a 4-1 victory over Cardiff Metropolitan University to end the calendar year on a high.
IN FORM | SEREN WATKINS
City midfielder Seren Watkins heads into Sunday’s fixture in fine form, having made a habit of contributing with goals this season.
In the last two league fixtures, Seren netted a brace against Cardiff Metropolitan University, before dispatching a clinical penalty at Aberystwyth Town.
The midfielder’s set-pieces have also been a source of goals for City this season, as she assisted for captain Siobhan Walsh’s goal against the Seasiders.
Last time out, the Bluebirds booked a place in the Semi-Finals of the Adran Trophy with a 3-1 victory over Wrexham, as Seren netted the first goal with a fierce strike.
CITY FLASHBACK | MOLLY’S FIRST CITY GOAL
In the reverse fixture at Cardiff International Sports Campus back in October, the Bluebirds claimed a 3-1 win in the third game of the campaign.
The match will remain a special memory for Molly Kehoe, who netted her first goal for the Bluebirds since signing for the Club in the summer.
The City playmaker turned brilliantly on the right with a fine piece of skill, before picking out the top left corner to double Darbyshire’s side’s lead.
Striker Collie also netted a brace in that game, which was a catalyst for her fine form this campaign, as she scored her first goals of the season.
