ADRAN PREMIER | SEASON SO FAR

The Bluebirds head into this weekend’s fixture on the back of a brilliant 3-0 victory over Wrexham at Cardiff City Stadium last time out.

Striker Eliza Collie netted a fine first-half brace, before Tija Richardson made a great impact off the bench to add a third.

The victory keeps City six points clear at the top of the Adran Premier table, with Swansea City currently in second.

Sunday’s opponents, Pontypridd United, sit at the foot of the table, having recorded one point from the opening 11 fixtures.

However, there have been encouraging signs from their recent fixtures, claiming a 1-1 draw against Aberystwyth Town, before falling to a narrow 2-1 defeat to Swansea City last time out.

CITY FLASHBACK | REVERSE FIXTURE

The last league meeting at the USW Sports Park saw the Bluebirds claim an impressive 5-1 victory.

City attacker Collie gave Iain Darbyshire’s side an early lead, before two goals in two minutes from Siobhan Walsh and Molly Kehoe put the Bluebirds 3-0 up at the break.

The pick of the goals came after the interval however, as Seren Watkins fired a fine strike from distance to find the net.

City have scored a series of team goals so far this season and a swift move resulted in Kehoe squaring to Mikayla Cook, who sealed the victory
