The Bluebirds visit Tŷ Hafan

This past Wednesday, the Bluebirds spent the afternoon at Tŷ Hafan Hospice.

Cardiff City Football Club are long time supporters of the magnificent efforts of Tŷ Hafan.

Tŷ Hafan aims to meet all of the needs of life-limited children, young people and their families, at every step of their difficult journeys.

They provide a wide range of care and support at our hospice in the Vale of Glamorgan, in the homes of families and their communities.

The support and love they give those going through incredibly difficult times is indescribable.

Rob Jones, CEO at Tŷ Hafan, said: “It was such a treat to welcome Neil Warnock and the some of the Bluebirds to the hospice. They put smiles on everyone’s faces and spent some quality time getting to know the children, families and hospice staff throughout the afternoon.

“The players didn’t hold back getting stuck into playtime with the children either, and these special interactions will be treasured forever. Tŷ Hafan is all about creating lasting memories, and thanks to the special memorabilia the team gave to the children and Neil’s handprint on our VIP wall, their visit will always be remembered.”

Cardiff City FC captain Sean Morrison added: "I've visited Tŷ Hafan on a number of occasions while I've been at Cardiff City. It is an incredible facility.

"The support and care they provide is amazing. Any kind of backing we can give that will encourage people to get involved is hugely important.

"To visit, meet the children and their families, and bring some smiles was fantastic. It was another great visit with the boys and I'm sure we'll be back soon!"
