Coxe: “It felt good to be back”

Following a goalless draw away to Watford, Cameron Coxe offered his post-match reaction at the Maurice Rebak Stadium on Friday, 29th March 2019.

“It’s a well thought point which we’ve come away with. Watford is not an easy place to go to. We have such a young squad and it just shows how good the character is in the team. To grind out the results with all the changes we’ve had recently is a great showing from the lads.

“There were a five trialists in the team and I thought they blended well with the squad. I think they addressed what we wanted to do as a team. They were determined throughout the game and a credit to the rest of the lads.”

The full-back is now hoping for a positive run-in before the culmination of the season, having made his return against Watford on Friday.

“It felt good to be back. It’s been a long time out but it was great to get an hour of football under my belt. Hopefully now we can kick-on and end the season on a high.”
