1. Emiliano Sala began his playing career as a youth at Argentinian side Club Proyecto Crecer, before heading to France, signing for FC Girondins Bordeaux and making his debut for the club in 2012.

4. During his period at Nantes, in October 2018 the Italian-Argentinian became the first player to score a Ligue 1 hat-trick for the club since Mamadou Diallo’s against FC Sochaux-Montbéliard in 2006.
