Morrison: We know what we have in the locker

Sean Morrison was on press conference duties on Friday morning as he prepared for the Bluebirds’ home clash with Sunderland.

The City skipper began by telling us what he expects to see from City’s new loan recruit Yanic Wildschut.

“I played against him during his time at Wigan and Norwich," began Sean. "He’s a player with plenty of quality. He possesses a lot of power and he’s very direct.

“I think he is someone that will fit into our dynamic really well and be a good addition to our squad. Hopefully he can hit the ground running, and he could give us that little spark we need to get back on track.”

Sean went on to assess what the Bluebirds will need to do in this Saturday’s 12:30pm kick-off at Cardiff City Stadium.

“We’ve got a fantastic squad of players and a brilliant team, so we know what we have in the locker,” he continued. “We know that we are fully capable of bouncing back and finding that form that we showed in the first half of the season.

“Saturday is where we need to put it right. We’ve got to come away with a win, get back on the horse and get back to winning ways.”
