Ward: “The Strength In The Squad Is Brilliant!”
Danny Ward scored his first competitive Cardiff City goal as the Bluebirds drew with Fulham on Saturday.

“It’s always hard coming here,” Ward began. “Fulham are a really good side. We’ve started so well this season and you’ve got to be confident going into games, without being complacent.
“The strength in the squad that we’ve got is brilliant. It’s not just the eleven out there – we need everyone working for the team and obviously it’s nice to get on the score sheet.
“Liam Feeney has been lively in training. He’s been putting balls in so I knew as soon as he got it wide there was a very good chance it was coming in the box and, to be fair, he’s put it on a plate for me.
“To go 1-0 down and show the spirit to come back and score that goal is fantastic.”
