Bluebirds partner with Promote Medical

At Cardiff City Football Club, the priority of our medical team is the health and wellbeing of our players.

As such, we have recently begun using the Promote Medical pitchside equipment system which is the only kit of its kind fully tested and endorsed by the Football Medical Association.

 
Cardiff City FC is now fully equipped with four of the Pro-Med Omnio medical bags and defibrillators. The Pro-Med Omnio is a complete emergency care kit and with defibrillator and a size CD oxygen cylinder meets and even exceeds the UEFA minimum medical pitchside requirements. The Omnio allows the medical team to have access to all their kit, in one place, all of the time – ensuring they are able to offer the best treatment for the health of the players.

Cardiff City FC Head of Medical Services, Paul Godfrey, said: “We wanted to equip the medical team with a leading and effective pitchside medical system that would give us all the support we need should a medical or trauma emergency situation arise.  

“We became aware of Promote Medical and were impressed with the quality and design of their products - so much so that we quickly increased our initial order.  Now we have immediate and very easy access to all of our emergency equipment pitchside and most importantly we can fulfil our priority of caring for our players whatever the situation.”
