REMEMBERING COREY

Earlier this month, Cardiff City FC unveiled a lasting memorial tribute to Corey Price at the Club’s Academy in Treforest.

 

Corey represented the Cardiff City Academy over an eight year period from the age of nine years old. In March 2015, he tragically lost his life along with Rhodri Miller, Alesha O’Connor and Margaret Challis. 

 

 

A memorial match at Cardiff City Stadium was held in Corey’s memory in June 2015, with all proceeds from the game going towards a ‘Corey Price Memorial Bench’. 

 

The bench was unveiled this spring, with Corey’s father Lee, Craig Bellamy, Scott Young and Corey’s friends, team-mates and coaches in attendance.
