Andy Legg returns to City

We’re delighted to confirm that Andy Legg has returned to the Club as part of our development setup.

Andy will be part of the U23s lead coaching staff ahead of the 2017/18 season, alongside Jarred Harvey.

Having played for the Bluebirds between 1998 and 2003, ‘Leggy’ became a fan favourite and was part of our 1998/99, 2000/01 and 2002/03 promotion squads.

Speaking of Andy’s appointment, Executive Director & CEO Ken Choo said: “Our developmental structure has undergone a thorough revamp over the past eighteen months or so, as we look to give our young talent the best opportunity of breaking into our first team.

“Andy is somebody well known to the Club and a person held in high regard by Bluebirds fans. We felt that having him as part of our U23s coaching setup would be an excellent fit and I’m delighted that he’s back with us at Cardiff City.”
