Bluebirds kick off Germany tour at the Wersestadion
Cardiff City’s final pre-season fixture has been confirmed, as part of the Bluebirds’ tour of Germany this July.
Paul Trollope’s side will open their German fixtures on Wednesday, 20th July against RW Ahlen at the club’s Wersestadion (Ahlen).
Supporters wishing to travel are welcome at all of the Bluebirds' German fixtures and should be at the following venues on the given dates.
Wednesday 20th July (vs. RW Ahlen) – Wersestadion, Ahlen (kick-off 7pm local)
Saturday 23rd July – (Osnabrück Tournament vs. FC St. Pauli & VfL Osnabrück) – Stadion and der Bremer Brücke (kick-off 3.30pm local)
Tuesday 26th July (vs. VfL Bochum) – Stadion am Schloss Strünkede, Herne (kick-off 7pm local).*
being played at VfL Bochum’s home stadium.IS NOT*NB, this game is being played at a neutral venue, the home of SC Westfalia Herne. It Further details including ticketing requirements will follow in due course.
The Bluebirds' three fixtures are to be played in the west of Germany, with supporters recommended to fly into Düsseldorf International Airport if travelling by plane. An easy-reference map showing the approximate distances between the stadia and airport is below.
