An early contender for ClubGOTM August from the Bluebirds Academy...
Sam Bowen, son of former Cardiff City midfielder Jason, scored a remarkable goal from midfield during Saturday's opening day U16 victory over Hull City.Jason Bowen played for Cardiff City between 1999-2004.
The young Bluebirds centre midfielder strode forward before striking the ball just inches inside the opposition's half and into the back of the net. The City U16 team defeated the Tigers, 3-1, with Sion Spence scoring the other two goals.
