City midfielder Joe Ralls addressed the Press and Media today to give his thoughts on Saturday’s crucial Sky Bet Championship encounter with Derby County. 

Joe believes the Easter break has left the Bluebirds extremely well prepared for this fixture and is looking forward to playing in front of the biggest home crowd of the season at CCS on Saturday afternoon.

“We’re all really looking forward to the match” began Joe. “Obviously we’ve had a couple of weeks without a game so we’ve had a very good build up. It’s a big game for both teams, we’re not far away from each other so both teams will want to get a result. 

“I think it’s brilliant that we’ll have a big attendance tomorrow and a lot of good work has gone into selling the game and getting people excited for it. For us, having the support there is massive. If you’re on top of a team and the fans are roaring you on then there’s no doubt that it helps you.

“We’ve got a good group of lads here, the manager’s done well in terms of getting the right personnel in, as we’ve got players here that want to work hard. We’re all pulling in the right direction and we’ll see how far that can take us.

“It’s in our hands, if we get the results we want to get then we can achieve our target.”
