STADIUM ANNOUNCERS APPOINTED

Cardiff City Football Club is delighted to welcome Mark Johncock and Huw Day as permanent stadium announcers for the remainder of the 2015/16 season.

Following a short trial period covering our first four home games of the season, Mark and Huw have been selected from a pool of six applicants. Mark – who previously took microphone duties for Cardiff Devils – trialled at our League fixture with Wolves, while Huw trialled at our League Cup game with AFC Wimbledon.

Huw and Mark were considered as most suitable for the role, based on supporter feedback.

We’d like to thank all those who took the time to offer their services for the role, with additional thanks to Richard Shepherd and Wayne Crichton for their assistance during the trial process.
