POINTS SHARED AT PORTMAN ROAD
Cardiff City kept their fourth straight clean sheet at Portman Road, drawing 0-0 with Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.
The host tested David Marshall on a number of occasions in the first-half, with the Scotland and City No. 1 pulling off two fine saves to deny Daryl Murphy's goal-bound header after fifteen minutes. Marshall was also on hand to spare Sean Morrison's blushes with 27 minutes on the clock, Morrison looking to cut out Niles' cross, the ball ricocheting towards goal only for Marshall to perform a wonderful reaction save.
Alex Revell and Craig Noone both went close for City in the second period, but Marshall's opposing number, Dean Gerken was also in fine form to keep the game goal-less.
