CCST APPEAL: JACOB SCHILT MEMORIAL FUND
Community
9th October
Cardiff City Supporters Trust has established a Memorial Fund for Jacob Schilt, who tragically lost his life in the Shoreham Air Disaster this August.
Jacob and team-mate Matt Grimstone were travelling on the A27 at Shoreham en route to play for Worthing United at the time of the crash.
Jacob had very close connections with the City of Cardiff. His mother was born and raised in Llandaff, whilst his grandmother was a teacher in the same area. Many of his friends were from Cardiff, a number of who are Cardiff City Football Club supporters.
The Supporters Trust is collecting for the Jacob Schilt Memorial Fund which has been created in Jacob’s memory to help develop youth football across the globe. The Supporters Club coaches raised £272 alone on last weekend’s trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.
