O'Sullivan scores in opening qualifier with Belgium
Young Cardiff City midfielder Tommy O'Sullivan scored the opening goal as Wales Under-19s's drew their opening Elite UEFA Under-19 qualifier with Belgium in Portugal.
City's Josh Yorwerth also featured in the starting-11 as O'Sullivan broke the deadlock just after the half hour mark, only for Belgium to equalise and claim a point in the second half through Francois Marquet. Young defender Tom James was an unused substitute.
The result got Wales off to a positive start in a tough UEFA Under-19 qualification group, with fixtures against hosts Portugal next on Friday 30th May, with a final game against Greece on Monday 2nd June. Only the winners of the group will qualify for the summer finals.
