YOUBIRDS: CITY STAFF V FANS

Do you fancy your chances against the City Staff?

Our #YouBirds initiative continues on Wednesday 27th August as the City Staff team are set to take on a Cardiff City fans select team at the House of Sport. 

#YouBirds matches will take place each month throughout the season at a number of different Cardiff City related locations, with an outstanding goal from each event entering the #ClubGOTM competition. Supporters will continue to stand a chance of winning a unique hospitality experience at a Sky Bet Championship match by voting in #ClubGOTM.

The first #YouBirds match took place last month on the Futsal courts at the House of Sport Two, situated just a five minute walk away from City Stadium. Academy and First Team squads, as well as other local clubs and professional sports teams utilise the House of Sport facilities. Six chosen fans were given a fantastic opportunity to sample the Futsal courts for themselves against a Cardiff City Staff select team.

Despite their valiant effort though, the Fans team were defeated - Simon Evans, of the City legal department, firing home the golden goal to seal victory for City Staff and ensure no route back for our visitors.
