HUDSON TO LEAD CITY v FOXES
Club News
12th March
Mark Hudson has shaken off an ankle injury incurred at Wolves to lead the Bluebirds out at home to Leicester City on Tuesday evening.
Craig Bellamy also returns to the squad and is named among the substitutes, though Ben Turner misses out having taken a knock in training. Twenty year-old Ben Nugent therefore keeps his place in central defence, partnering skipper Hudson.
In other news, Tommy Smith takes a more advanced second-striker role, with Craig Noone starting on the wing following his goal against Derby last week.
Cardiff City side to face Leicester City: Marshall, Connolly, Taylor, Hudson (c), Nugent, Conway, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, Noone, Smith, Campbell. Subs: Lewis, McNaughton, Cowie, Kim, Gestede, Mason, Bellamy.
Leicester City: Schmeichel, Keane, St. Ledger, Morgan, Schlupp, Wellens, King, Dyer, Drinkwater, Nugent, Wood. Subs: Logan, Whitbread, Marshall, Vardy, Waghorn, Knockaert, Kane.
