MASON IN FOR FRAIZER AT WATFORD

Malky Mackay has made just the one enforced change for this evening’s table-topping clash with Watford at Vicarage Road. Joe Mason, influential off the bench in Monday’s win over Blackburn, steps into the striking role to replace the injured Fraizer Campbell.

Elsewhere in the starting eleven it’s a case of as you were from the win over Rovers five days ago. That means Kim Bo-Kyung and Jordon Mutch are teamed with Aron Gunnarsson once more in a new-look City midfield that functioned so impressively last time out.

Leon Barnett and Ben Turner continue to forge their fledgling centre-half partnership at the heart of the City defence, whilst Craig Bellamy and Craig Conway are preferred in the wide areas to go up against Watford’s 3-5-2 formation.
