A first start for youngster Ben and debut for loan-man Simon

Ben Nugent has been named by Malky Mackay for his first start in senior football, while Simon Lappin will make his City debut against Barnsley.

They are the only two changes from the side that started against Middlesbrough last weekend, with Craig Bellamy again named among the substitutes after returning to action seven days ago.

In other news, Jordon Mutch returns to the match-day eighteen after over two months out with a nerve problem, while youngster Declan John is also on the bench after impressing for the Development Squad in recent weeks.
